ENTERTAINMENT ECONOMIC CONSULTING:

Cyrus Ahanchian is a leading film, television, and new media economist. In 2004, he graduated from the University of Southern California’s Cinema-Television Program on a full-tuition scholarship with an MBA in the Business of Entertainment. While there, he was also the first and second recipient of the Larry Auerbach Award for the Study of the Business of Entertainment. As a Senior Analyst, heading the New Media, Film, and Television Economics Division of Adam’s Media Research (AMR), he co-wrote several entertainment industry books and reports analyzing studio profitability, the home video markets, pipeline management for global film distribution, and emerging digital technology. While at AMR, Ahanchian’s forecasts of the entertainment industry appeared in the 2005 annual reports of both Blockbusters and Netflix as well as on CNBC in 2007. With almost ten years of experience in the entertainment arena, Ahanchian regularly consults for the major studios, networks, and other media industry leaders in the fields of:
