About Fifty Pills And Theo Avgerinos:

Theo Avgerinos' first feature film was Fifty Pills. With only a $250k budget, this teen romantic-comedy premiered at Robert De Niro's 2006 Tribeca Film Festival in early May where every screening sold out. Shortly thereafter, he signed a worldwide distribution agreement for the film with Echo Bridge Entertainment. Thereafter, it premiered on the Showtime Network in September of 2007, The Movie Channel in October in 2007, and on Comedy Central in February of 2008. Now, Fifty Pills is available on DVD everywhere.

In addition to his skills as a director-writer, Theo has a talent for picking rising star actors. Starting pre-production in early 2004, in this film alone, he cast four actors who have since gone on to become major branded talent:

Michael Pena (who went on to star in Crash- 2005 Best Picture Oscar and then, World Trade Center, Babel, Shooter, and Lions For Lambs)

Kristen Bell (Heroes and teen-famed title role of her own CW television series, Veronica Mars)
